Here are your results for yesterday’s Men’s Club Competition. Yesterday we kicked off the 1st round of the 2025-2026 Cedars at Dungeness Men’s Club Winter Series. As we proceed through the winter season, we will have many rounds that will count toward the 7 Cedars Winter CUP/season long points race and gross/net ringer competition. For the points race, everyone who plays in a 7 Cedars Winter CUP competition receives a participation point. If you finish 1st pace gross or net you will receive 2.5 points, 2 points for 2nd place gross or net, and 1.5 points for 3rd place gross or net.
Next week the competition is going to be an individual gross and net stableford points competition. Next weeks competition WILL NOT count towards the 7 Cedars Winter Cup.
Let’s finish off recognizing some great rounds from yesterday. Mark Hash took low gross honors for flight 1 with a score of 69! Russ Veenema won the 3-way scorecard playoff on the net side with his net 72. Richard Clendening fired off a gross score of 77 for $18 golf shop credit in flight 2. Tom Garrick had a net score of 71 to win low net for flight 2. Bill Berry had a good day on the course and fired off a gross score of 83 to add $18 to his golf shop credit for flight 3. Karl Brehm was 1 shot behind Bill for the gross score but 2 shots better than Bill for the net score with a 66. Nice round guys!
