The board would like to welcome new Board Members Vice President Ray Ballantyne and Treasurer Bill Schless.  We would also like to thank Bill Berry and Steve Collatz for their years of service to the Men’s Club and the Board of Directors.  Our prayers are sent to the family of Steve for a complete recovery. The Board would also like to acknowledge the passing of member Lee White on November 4, 2025.  He was a great guy and will be missed.

A discussion was had about raising Men’s Club dues to $65 a year.  Approved by majority vote.  Members can renew at the web site. If unable to renew at the web site, the pro shop attendant will be able to help those without internet access.

A discussion was also had, to offer interested members the opportunity to train on Golf Genius on how to score events using different games.  The pro shop can help out with members training through a mentor program to be developed.  Ultimately, a tournament committee would be setting up events not normally run by the tournament chairman under the purview of the tournament chairman.

Richard Clendening, Tournament Chairman, will be stepping back on running events during the non-posting season.  Fred Green, Assistant Pro, and Garrett Smithson will be handling the events during the winter months.

Head pro Garrett Smithson will be handling the 4 course clash events and Robert Bourns, Team Captain, will look into setting up events at other courses for the membership.

Treasurer Bill Schless noted that $200 was paid to CAD for the Memorial Tournament, and $1065, to Shipley Center as a donation to them from our membership.  Thanks all.  Ending balance was $3173.14.

Vice President Ray Ballantyne will be handling the awarding of a special flag to members that have a hole in one during the calendar year.   He was authorized to spend up to $35.00 per award.  The award will be presented to a member that has a hole in one at any time at Cedars at Dungeness if it is properly witnessed.  Members that shoot their age will also be acknowledged at the Annual Meeting following the Memorial Tournament.  Also, there was a mention of the upcoming putting and chipping clinic.  More details are upcoming.

A rule of the month will be established by Rules Chairman Harry Phillips and presented to the membership.  Handicap Chairman Ron Grant will provide a snippet of information to the membership concerning handicap concerns.

A discussion was held concerning golfers that want to join the Men’s Club during the final quarter of the year to play in our weekly events.  It would just require a commitment to join during the open enrollment period.  Approved by the Board.

WA. golf rep Don Flores wanted to let the membership know that the web site is where information about the club is readily available.  Along with a tremendous amount of information about and pictures of members in action.

The Board Meetings will continue to be held on Wednesday after a men’s club event.  There will be no meeting in December. Motion to adjourn at 3:27 pm.
