Meeting was called to order at 3 pm by President Russ Veenema
Minutes from January 14th were approved.
Present were President Russ Veenema, Vice President Ray Ballantyne, Secretary/Historian Jim Jaqubino, Treasurer Bill Schless, Competition Chairman Richard Clendening, Rules Chairman Harry Phillips, Handicap Chairman Ron Grant, Team Captain Robert Bourns
Absent was WA Golf Representative Don Flores
Guest was Chad Wagner, General Manager and Director of Golf
Chad Wagner talked about the teaching center to be built at the range starting Monday, March 16th. Also, the new bathroom behind #14 green is still awaiting an agreement between the Tribe and Clallam County as to how it will be addressed before opening to the Golf Course patrons. It is beautiful and will be a welcome addition to the course. Also, the cart path on 18 should be done soon and plans for 11 cart path does not, at this time, include a bridge across the ravine but could be in the future. Sand traps are on the docket and will be starting to be redone soon.
The Board discussed and voted against a proposal for a separate class of membership.
Vice President Ray Ballantyne wanted to remind the membership to fill out the form at the Pro Shop when making a hole-in-one so they can be properly rewarded at the Annual Meeting.
Treasurer Bill Schless announced that there is $6897.89 in the bank and that there are 172 members presently.
Richard Clendening announced that the Spring Opener is to be held on March 18th. This is a fun event and will get the season kicked off in style. Be sure to sign up asap. There will be special tee markers for the event.
Next meeting will be on May 6, 2026.
